The findings of the research showed healthy eating pattern has a significant positive relationship with satisfaction with life (p<0.01). Furthermore, regression analysis showed that healthy eating pattern is significant positive predictor of satisfaction with life. The results showed no significant gender differences in healthy eating patterns and satisfaction with life. This study has implications for both young adults and mental health professionals to focus more on increasing the consumption of healthy eating like fruits and vegetables to increase the overall well-being and prevent mental health problems.
