The rapid growth of both digital technologies & media platforms has highly impacted the lives of its users in terms of sleep patterns. This study is an investigation of the connection between media consumption and its effects on sleep quality of youth in a semi-urban context, i.e. Mansehra Pakistan, having traditional lifestyles and increased digital engagement. Using quantitative research design, a survey among 200 participants was conducted to explore media habits, sleep disturbances, and overall well-being of the users. The results reveal the existence of a strong correlation between media consumption at night and sleep pattern, which include delayed sleep onset with an increased fatigue, and lower sleep quality. By integrating the Uses and Gratifications and Cognitive-Behavioral models the researcher aims to explore the role of social media in shaping sleep behaviors and also provides an insights into the psychological factors that hinder the sleep of its user
