Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between stressors and students’ academic achievement while considering the mediating role of coping strategies. The research was conducted at Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with a sample of 389 students selected using stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a self-constructed questionnaire. Regression analysis and Hayes’ (2015) PROCESS macro were employed to test the mediation effect. The findings revealed that coping strategies partially mediate the relationship between stressors and academic achievement. These results highlight the significance of coping mechanisms in reducing stress levels and improving students’ academic outcomes.
