This study explored the relationships among attachment styles, personal growth, and academic motivation in university students. A total of 200 students from Gilgit-Baltistan participated in the research, including 97 males and 103 females. Using a cross-sectional design, data were collected through three standardized measures assessing attachment styles, personal growth, and academic motivation. Results revealed that personal growth was positively associated with academic motivation, whereas avoidant and anxious attachment styles were negatively associated with it. Furthermore, personal growth mediated the relationship between attachment styles and academic motivation. These findings highlight the significance of addressing attachment-related difficulties and promoting personal growth to strengthen students’ academic motivation in higher education contexts.
