Abstract

The paper examines the influence of social media on adolescent mental health through a comprehensive review of recent studies. It explores various dimensions of the relationship, including psychological well-being, emotional stability, and behavioral patterns. By synthesizing existing literature, the review sheds light on the complex interplay between social media usage and mental health outcomes among adolescents. The findings underscore the need for nuanced approaches in understanding and addressing the challenges posed by social media platforms in promoting healthy adolescent development. The review also highlights gaps in current research and suggests directions for future investigations to enhance our understanding of this critical issue.
